Summer Essential Series // Sunglasses

Welcome back to my Summer Essential Series!! This one will be all about SUNGLASSES! Are you excited? YES... I know you are :)

This pair of rose gold sunglasses are perfect for a pop of color. As you can tell, I wear a lot of Black/White, so sometimes a pop of color is necessary. 

These glasses were only $6 from Francesca's!

For a clean, chic look these silver and grey sunglasses are perfect. 

These glasses were $3 from Charlotte Russe. WHAT A DEAL!!

I think spending a ton of money on fashionable sunglasses is totally unnecessary when stores like Francesca's, Charlotte Russe, and Forever 21 have them for such good prices.

Currently... 

I am 17 years old. I am reading the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley for school. I am watching multiple shows, which include Freakish, Saving Hope, and That 70's Show. I am obsessed with my camera. I am getting ready to apply to college!! I am working as a camp counselor and driving a Black RAV-4. I am looking into updating my blog and getting a new camera lens. I am wearing my Jack Rogers nonstop. I am listening to Taylor Swift on Pandora. I am loving photo shoots and I just bought some more film for my film camera. 

As nice as it is to post with pictures and fun little captions, I think it is important to post about real life. Not that any of those things are terribly important to any of you, but they are all things that give me inspiration and motivation for blog posts. These are the kinds of things that I would write about in journal or something and they give you an insight into my everyday life! 

I honestly have no idea why I wrote this post, but it's here now... so enjoy!

A Sunset

The sunsets in Virginia Beach are ones that everyone should experience! They are so lovely and the other night I was able to capture their beauty with my camera! 

Every time I turned my head more colors appeared in the sky. It was changing so quickly!

I truly wish I could have just bottled up the sky and kept in a jar forever. 

When you get the chance, look up! You never know what you might find!

Band Tees & Birkenstocks

Band tees and Birkenstocks are the greatest thing since sliced bread. And they are even better when you put them together. 

My "The Clash" tee is from American Eagle and you can get it here. 

These Birkenstocks are in the style Mayari and you can get them here. 

Band tees are such a cool, retro look and they can be paired with shorts, jeans, or skirts. I also love the way they look with flannels. 

Also, if you don't have a pair of Birkenstocks then I would definitely recommend splurging on a pair. They are incredibly comfortable and super versatile.

As some of you may know, I purchased a Nikon D3400 for my birthday. I have been snapping pictures and doing little "photoshoots" with my sister lately. I love testing out different settings and seeing how my photos turn out. 

Today, I will be sharing some pictures I got from our latest photoshoot :)

Summer Essentials Series // Flowy Pants

 So, in honor of the best season ever, I decided to start a series called "Summer Essentials." This will include clothing, beauty supplies, and maybe even food. I am excited to try it out. Let me know what you think. 

To start it off, I will be sharing the glorious idea of FLOWY PANTS. 

If you are unfamiliar with this concept, this is any pant that is, well, flowy. Anything that fits like pajama pants is fair game. 

These are crucial for Summer! 

You can easily slip flowy pants on after a day at the beach or use them as a coverup. 

My white flowy pants are from Marshall's. They are literally to die for because they are not see through and are super lightweight. Also, they have the CUTEST white rope belt around them. 

And that is how excited I am about these pants! 

(They are also great for jumping, cartwheels, and handstands)
